Spam messages can be deleted afterwards, or you can set SpamSweep up so it automatically trashes any spam message it finds. Whenever a message is marked as spam you'll get a little summary box about who the sender is, if the domain or relay have been blacklisted and what the Bayesian score is. You'll also be able to create a sender white list for extra precaution. This will help you not only block out recurring spam messages but also identifying email that you absolutely never want to be marked as spam. However, SpamSieve does work with Postbox, which is an enhanced version of Thunderbird. SpamSweep's interface is a little basic, yet it lets you quickly identify spam emails and separate them from clean messages. Current versions of Thunderbird have removed support for compiled plug-ins.
